The Northern Lapwing is a common Eurasian bird
that's been seen during nearly all FONT tours in Europe
(except those in Iceland, and some in southern Spain in the summer).
This bird, however, was photographed in North America,
near Frederick, Maryland, USA,
where the Northern Lapwing is far from being a common bird.
