We were over 150 years too late, 
but we have seen where the last two lived.

A close cousin of Bird #15 that still lives today.

Has been seen during FONT tours in 3 countries

Bird #18: Southern Giant Petrel
Has been seen during FONT tours in 2 countries

Bird #19: Black Scoter
Has been seen during FONT tours in 2 countries,
one of which is not the United States.

Has not been seen during a FONT tour,
as we have yet to do a tour on that continent.
A closely-related bird, elsewhere, is now extinct. 
 

Bird #46: White-tailed Eagle (immature)
has been seen during FONT tours in 6 countries

Bird #47: Bearded Barbet
Has not been seen during a FONT tour.
We have never been where it is.

Has not been seen during a FONT tour

Bird #49: Wreathed Hornbill
Has not been seen during a FONT tour

Bird #50: Dodo
Has not been seen by anyone alive today,
as we all were too late.
