   Focus On Nature Tours
in the
Caribbean
in
2012 & 2013

enjoyable birding and nature tours
with West Indies birds: endemics, specialties, rarities
and other nature, including butterflies,
amphibians and reptiles, and marine life.

Focus on Nature Tours has been conducting birding and
nature tours on various islands in the West Indies in the Caribbean for over 2 decades.
In Puerto Rico, there have been 27 FONT tours.
In the Dominican Republic, 19. In Saint Lucia, 15.
In Saint Vincent, 10. In Dominica, 7. In Jamaica, 10.
In the Cayman Islands, 5.
Also in Antigua, Barbuda, and Guadeloupe.

On all the islands that we visit, our aims are to see as many of the endemic and specialty birds and butterflies as we can,
as well as other interesting nature, and to have a most
enjoyable time while doing so.

Below there is a link to a 2-part list with over 350 species of
birds that have been found during our Caribbean tours, noting where and when they have been found, along with information about subspecies and local names on particular islands. The status of rarities is noted, along with info about birds that formerly occurred in the region.
Also below, there are links to lists of Caribbean butterflies,
amphibians & reptiles, mammals, and marine-life.
Please click and take a look.
