Our Caribbean
Birding & Nature Tours
in 2009
enjoyable tours
with West Indies birds:
endemics, specialties, rarities
| Focus
on Nature Tours has been conducting birding tours on islands in the West
Indies in the Caribbean for nearly 2 decades. In Puerto Rico, there have been 27 FONT tours. In the Dominican Republic, 17. In Saint Lucia, 15. In Saint Vincent, 10. In Dominica, 6. In Jamaica, 10. In the Cayman Islands, 4. On all the islands that we visit, our aims are to see as many of the endemic and specialty birds as we can, and to have a most enjoyable time doing so. There is available from FONT a publication listing over 350 species of birds that have been found during our Caribbean tours, noting where and when they have been found, along with information about subspecies and local names on particular islands. The status of rarities is noted, along with info about birds that formerly occurred in the region. Let us know if you'd like to receive a copy. |

| Itineraries for FONT Caribbean birding & nature tours follow. Some of these tours can be done in combination. |
